MAMA KICKS has been performing since August of 1994. Formed by musicians Lisa Guyer (guitar/vocals) & Gardner Berry (keyboards/vocals), the duo first worked together in 1988 in "THE CLASSICS' SHOWBAND", a powerful 10-piece band which eventually evolved into "THE WICKED BIG BAND". Previously, Lisa Guyer spent several years as lead vocalist for a well respected band called "SECTION 8" while Gardner Berry was the keyboardist and lead vocalist for the popular band "STONECROSS".

With the addition of drummer David Stefanelli (Robert Ellis Orrall, RTZ, Peter Wolf and The Houseparty 5, The Beloved Few), Mama Kicks had reinvented themselves as a powerful 3 piece, electric dance machine with the best vocals and groove around..

In 2006 Mama Kicks added a fourth member...Chris Lester on guitar and vocals has now taken the band to an even higher level of music and fun. Chris has known Lisa and Gardner for years and was a one time member of the Wicked Big Band.
